MINING CONGRESS.
LONDON, June 8. The cloising session of the Mining Congress at Wembley resolved to constitute an. Imperial Council of mining metallurgical institutes. The consti" tution includes: (1) Communication and co-operation between the constituent bodies throughout the Empire ;- (2) to foster arid maintain a high level of technical efficiency and professional status to establish a register of professional mining metallurgists.—Aus - N.Z.
