MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) Mr A. M. Mowlem presided over yesterday's sitting of the Magistrate's Court. Judgment by default with costs .was given in the following cases: H. B. Gibson y. E. Edwards, claim £21 14s; K. Katine v. George Katine, £57 4s; Rangi Katine v. George Katine, £57 4s; H. J. Eaves v. H. Lockley, £12 19* 9d; Farmers' Co-op, v. T. Tutawa, £13 9s; H. C. Jones v. W. Sutton, £1 10s 8d; H. Sandford v. H. Davison, £3 10s; W. Opai v. Mary Schlichting, £9 5s 6d. In a judgment summons case A. Clare v. K. Pini. defendant was ordered to pay £6 6s 6d forthwith, in dcrault seven days' imprisonment. For refusing to ouit licensed premises when asked to do so by the "licensee, George Cadman was convicted and prohibited for 12 months. A fine of £1, with 7s costs, was imposed upon Billy Morehu for failing to register a firearm.
