ENTERTAINMENTS.

OPERA HOUSE—TO-NIGHT,

"THE BARNYARD" AND "STABLE

COMPANIONS.''

Larry Semon, the prince qf com- > edians, in his latest picture "The Barnyard'" will provide some rollicking fun at the 'Opera House to-night. "The Barnyard^' is his best picture to date. The second feature "Stable Companions" is a British racing drama with plenty of thrill, a rattling good storyj and y novelty in colour photography. In' "Stable Companions" the master picture, there are two excitingraces, one a steeplechase stunner. As for the story you will find it absorbing. When two determined young men are rival heirs to "' their uncle's "fortune, and both belong to the racing fraternity, it is pertain that things are going to happen.. It is the uncle himself who finds a solution to the problem, aiid proves who will be the worthierjraeeessor. Colour photography is used for the first time in a racing picture, and ipstead of a mere glimpse of the horses flashing by, one can pick the winner and follow him from the start to the winning post by tlie coloured silken jackets of the jockeys. This great pro-. gramme will be repeated again to-mor-row night.
