WELLINGTON RUGBY UNION

The local Rugby Union, in its annual report, urges the restriction of representative fixtures this season, and that none should be undertaken till the club championships are finishI cd. A sura of £800 was set aside towards the fund for rebuilding the grandstand, which i« urgently needed. Owing to the wet winter the revenue was considerably affected, A new ground of 13} acres, with four playing areas, has been secured at Lower Hutt, but other grounds offered were much too costly. The committee strongly approved of the proposals for the selection of an All Black team.
