IRELAND.

FATE OF DE VALERA

BY CAJJLB—FEEBB ASSOCIATIOfI-COPYBIGHI

LONDON, Sept. 5. The Rome correspondent of the Daily Express says that Mr. Desmond Fitzgerald told journalists to-day that De Valera will b© kept in prison until Ireland is completely pacified. He added: "We have not decided whether he should be interned or prosecuted. He conducted an insidious guerilla warfare against the Government, leading to the destruction of £50,000,000 worth of property. He is a criminal, because he killed and destroyed pitilessly."
