For the past 24 hours 19 fresh eases of pneumonic influenza have been reported to the health officer—twelve in the city, two at Amberley, three at Timaru, and one each" at" Springfield and Kanieri (West Coast). The health offi er regards the. epidemic as well in hand, but the continuous wet weather i.s retarding recovery. i -
