BOGUS TELEGRAMS

Ernest Albert Tumei pleadea guilty to-day to three charges of sending bogus telegrams at Christchurch last November in the name of James Siddells to. three Wanganui residents, requesting them to wire various sums of money. All three responded, and the aggregate amount Turner recen^ed was £lis. Accused also pleaded guilty to a charge of forging a receipt tor a money order telegram from Blenheim. He Ay-is " committed to the Supreme Court, Wellington, for sentence.
