The Prince of Wales, presiding at a 'dinner to welcome the overseas delegates to the Empire Service League 'Conference, said the comradeship of .'Service which enabled us to win the war is alive throughout the Empire, -helping us in our efforts to overcome -afche many grave and difficult problems facing, the whole civilised world. Re^ herring to the projected visit of delegates to the graves in France and Bel...gium, the Prince said: "If it impresses _you as it did me you will return to, lyonv homes in the far corners of the .Empire assured that these hallowed :a*esting places are cared for in a man:,ner worthy of those whose memory "tthey perpetuate. Let- us not forget •^that_in one sense we can never be ex- : servicemen in, peace or war. All still *«we; service to their fellow-men, and so . long as we are bound by the strong of comradeship and mutual help. «ou.r position will be unassailable.''
