PAINFUL EXPERIENCE.

Ellen Ferguson, aged 20 years; employed in a bedding and mattness manufacturing business in Grey Lynn, while endeavouring to replace a belt driving the machinery, got her hair caught in. the shaft, which was torn from the scalp, leaving a deep wound. She was removed to hospital and is- progressing favourably.
