LADY ASTOR'S BILL.

The Commons read a third time Lady Astor's Liquor Bill. Sir F. Banbury's amendment- to reiect it was negatived by 257 votes to X). Lady Astor remarked that Sir F. Banbury had come to a time of life when, the only chance for him was to be bom again. (Laughter.) Sh© harl been described as an aH^n who was attempting to impose her will on a free rceople. She misrht be an alien, but she was not an alien to the needs and wishes of the women of Britain,
