NORTH ISLAND TE„M. The selectors of the three divisions of tne Taranaki Ladies' Hockey Association (faessrs L-iouvorthy (I\ p i Johnston (Stratford;, and Ren wick (Haweia) met at Stratford. Tne diijibusiness of the meeting was to consider a letter received from the sole , se.ec-Lor of tne North Island ladies' rep. ! team. July 21—Hawera Rovers v. Stratford Tec-h. High School, at Hawera. J"1? 28-Stratford Tech- High School v. N.P. Tech, College Old Girl*, at Inglewood. The se.ectors are to meet at Stratt?ra on July 24 to pick the Possibles v. Probab.es-teams, fi-om which the final selection for the reps will be made. Tne Possible v. Probable match will be played at Hawera on Saturay, August 4. j> & A general meeting of" ihe, Taranaki Association will be held at Stratford on Wednesday, July 11, to discuss- proposed constitution- and ruJ.es, when two representatives from each affiliated club in the? Taranaki Ladies' Hockey Association are especially asked to* he present at the. Technical High School, Stratford, »t 3.30 p.m. Hawera Rovers have every reason' to be very proudl that they have two players from their dub nominated to represent the North Island in the InterIsland fixture at Wellington on July 28. ' Miss Petersen and Miss Mavis .Death have proved themselves players of a very high standard, and their inclusion m the North Island team would be a credit to the district. - j
