HALL COMMITTEE
Th« annual meeting in connection with the above was held on Wednesday last. Mr. G. Wilson presided over a go<xl attendance of residents. The bal-ance-sheet disclosed a credit of £23 as the result of the year's working. The report outlined improvements that were carried out, entailing an expenditure of £50, which left a debt of £20 on the hall. The report and balance-sheet were passed without comment. Hearty vote 9of thanks were accorded to the ladies and the outgoing committee for their assistance towards the hall during the past year. rt The election of a new committee resulted as follows: Messrs G. Wilson, G Harrison, A. Guy, R. Guv, R. Hooker.' A. Thomas, C. Hooker. G. Keighley, jum\, and W. Hoskin. At a. subsequent meeting of the committee Mr. G. Wilson was re-elected chairman and. Mr. R. Hooker secretary. It was decided to hold a series of euchre tournaments and dances, tomorrow (Tuesday) being the opening night, Mr. K. Sharp will supply the music lor the danco and the new* committee will endeavour to popularise these functions.
