Reports of many deaf persons succeeding in listening in in wireless broadcasting programmes resulted in an invention claiming to enable the deaf to hear general conversation being ex. habited before the Royal Society of Medicine. It consists of a microphone cabinet containing a two-valve amplifier with telephones attached.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
