It is to be hoped that i on this occasion it will not be allowed '. to remain simply a vote; the time has arrived when the money should be spent. Visitors to the opening of the bowling green on Wednesday next need have no qualms about the green The green committee, under the direction of Mr. G. Williams, have put a lot of work into the greens during the last month, with the result that to-day it is playing well, and by Wednesday next it will be as near perfection as human toil can make it.
