TARANAKI DISTRICT COMMITTEE.
The monthly meeting of the district committee of the Taranaki Jockey Club was held on Tuesday evening, Mr. L. A. Nolan presiding. Others present were: Messrs B. H. Chancy, J. McLeod, D. J. Malone, J. Gray, H. .Washer, O. W. Sole, S. Pitt, and G. Fraser. The Stratford Racing Club's programme for a meeting on January 1 > and 2 was approved. The New Zealand Racing Conference advised that trainers' licenses had been granted to P. R. Edwards (conditional) and E. J.Murtagh, while a conditional jockey's license had been issued to J. Lambess.
