A deputation from the Irish Constabulary urged Sir Hamar Greonwood that in the event of an Irish settlement their claims to a compensation "pension should be remembered. Sir Hamar Greenwood made a sympathetic reply. Sir James Craig, addressing the Unionist Labour Association in Belfast, said he knew there was an uneasy feeling over the present association, but his Government would not fail m its duty to the people of the country and the Empire.
