AUCKLAND. F&b. 13. It is reported from Kaitaia that itMaori named Meihemi, aged 25, wasfound dead by the police. H e had been, reported missing since last Saturday,. when it was alleged that he was struck on the head by another Maori during a quarrel. Enquiries made by Constable Caldwell, of Kaitaia, resulted in hisfinding the body on Wednesday twenty chains from the site of the quai--rel, in a drain in five metres of water. The Jocal police arrested'the other Maori', whose name is unknown.
