GOVERNMENT SALE OF SHIPS
.WASHINGTON, July 31. The Shipping Board has announced that it will sell a hundred steel coalburning vessels, aggregating about 230,000 gross tons, to an American corporation. It is believed the hale involves eighty million dollars, and that the ships have been bought for French and Italian interests.
