FARMERS' CO-OP. ORGANISATION SOCIETY'S REPORT.

At. Okaiawa on Monday, July 28, we held our usual fortnightly sale, when there was a small yarding of cattle, which sold at late rates. On Tuesday at Kaponga we conducted a clearing sale on account of Mr David Black, Kaponga, when there was a large attendance of the public. Everything met with keen demand, and high prices ruled throughout. We quote: Gelding £26 10s, pedigree Shorthorn cows 17gns to 34gns, pedigree Shorthorn bulls 15gns to 21gns, grade dairy cows £12 to £33, the grade herd averaging £21 12s, dairy heifers £10 to £18 10s.

On Wednesday at Eltham we held our usual fortnightly sale, when there was a fair yarding of sheep and cattle. Prices ranged as follows: 2 and 4-tooth wethers £1 13s, ewes in lamb 18s 6d, lambs 10s 3d to 21 lid, forward cows £9 17s 6d to £10 17s 6d, store cows £7 2s to £9, boners £5 to £6 9s, weaner heifers £2 15s to £3 2s 6d, weaner steers £3 2s to £3 15s.

On- Thursday we held our Hawera sale, when there was an average yarding of sheep and cattle. We report a good sale. Prices were: Hoggets 23s to 32e Bd, ewes and lambs 32« 3d, ewes 30s 9, fat cows £13 ss, forward cows £10,0 store cows £7 15s to £8 lis, £5 to £7 Is, weaner steers £3 lOs, best heifers £4 6s to £5 9s, others £2 5s to £3 lOs, dairy cows £12 to £26, dairy heifers £8 to £19 ss, small late 6orts £G.

On Friday, at Inglewood, we held our spring horse fair, when a* fair numJber of horses came -forward and sold at late rates.

At Waverley on Friday we held our usual fortnightly sale, and we report a good sale. Empty forward ewes 27s lOd to 29s Bd, hoggets 255. do. small 10s 3d to 14s 4d, store pigs £3 ss, weaners £1 ss, store cows £7 to £9, empty heifers £5 5s to £5 16s, mixed weaners £3, best dairy heifers £17 to £21, others £11 to £15 10s, dairy cows £7 to £17.
