SALES OF AUSTRALIAN ARMY HORSES.

LONDON, July 2. The Australian Surplus Board auctioned 6753 horses in France at an average price of £35. One thousand five hundred and forty-three inferior animals were sold to butchers, at an average price of £17, and 1400 superior to the Belgian Government at £55. The War Office is taking over 7000 Australian horses and 3000 mules in Egypt.
