COMMITTEE'S RECOMMENDA-
TIONS
(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION ) WELLINGTON, May 23. The committee of the Town-Planning Conference set up,, to consider . the lown-planmng Bill has made, amongst others, the. following suggestions, which have been, adopted by the conference : That the principles of townplanning be applied in New Zealand, and that town-planning schemes be prepared without delay; that a Townplanning and Housing Act is necessary, that a department be established and an expert town-planner be appointed, to have supervision of townplanning schemes.
