GRATUITY FOR SOLDIERS.
(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 22. Sir James Allen stated the soldiers' gratuity has not been decided on. He denied the rumor that it would be a shilling per day. He was waiting further information, particularly from Canada, before moving in the matter.
