OPERA HOUSE—TO-NIGHT.

"BROKEN CHAINS."

A complete change of programme will be made this evening at the Opera lTouso. when th© features will, include the American drama, "Broken Chains." Two well-known film favorites Miss Ethel Clayton (of "The Hidden Scar" fame) and Mr Carlyle Blackwell have the leading parts in the cast, and umko the mostf of a plot that is full of stirring action and dramatic intensity, flavored with a pretty love interest. "John Bull's Sketch Book," and two really rollicking laughable comedies will be included in the programme.

"BOTH SIDES OF LIFE.'"

The programme to-night is to be headed by a Laemmle masterpiece, "Both Sides of Life," with the popular actress Ella Hall in the leading part. The story is a gripping one, full of startling and interesting contrasts and replete with the attributes of a nrst-class picture. A film showing the j manufacture and erection of a Ford motor car will also be screened. This is an industrial picture of the highest j order, and should prove of great educational value to motorists and all who have the opportunity of seeing it Humor will be supplied'in abundance by one of the famotta L.K.O. comedies entitled "Love on an Empty Stomach " •A quaint comedy drama, "A Race for Lite," is enacted entirely by Lilliputian artists, who acquit themselves most creditably. Followers of the serial "The Broken Coin" are reminded that the final episode will he screened to-night. This episode is very exciting, and discloses the whereabouts of the hidden treasure.
