ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES

BY TELEGRAPH —PKRSB ASSOCIATION. GISBORNE. May 28

A boy named Ralph Hale, aged 14, was fatally ehot with a pea rifle at Mangakuna, Tolaga Bay. He had handed the rifle to a native boy who, thinking it unloaded, aimed it at him and shot him through the head. At the inquesib a verdict of death from misadventure was returned.
