Also started: 5 Miacara, 2 Lady Middleton, 8 Lightning, 10 Interlude, 6 Sarah Grand, 4 lnan, 9 Torotoro, 11 Bairnsdale, 12 Bivouac. Won by a length, a neck separating second and thirds Time, 1.18. Balgownie Hack—l Johnny Walker 1,-3 Rio 2, 4 Hexton 3. Also started: 7 Dingle, 2 Henry Clay, 5 Crown Head, 8 Cross Words, 6 Sigribrella, 9 War Loan. Won by two lengths, a similar distance separating the next two T.me, 2.4 3-5. Grandstand Steeplechase— 5 Marton 1, 2 Nita 2, 8 Jackman 3. Also started: 4 Hereford, 4 St. Elmn, 1 Czar-1 onus, 11 Sandy Paul, 6 Arlington, 7 Grey Guard, 10 Silver Monarch 9 Papatere, 3 Styrax. Won easily by two lengths. Time, 5.23. Kata Hack Hurdles—3 Kohinahina 1 S'Waioture 2, 1 Montana 3. Also started: 1 Splendidus, 6 Deeside, 5 Combustion, 2 Colorado, 4 Calais 10 Mairua, 9 Turehau, 7 Precious Metal. Won easily by three lengtns, live lengths between second and third Time, 8.14. ; May Hurdles—3 Bon Reve 1, 10 Leon ta 2, 5 Sir Fisher 3.
