The High Commissioner reports from London on May 23rd at 4.25 p.m.: — A Rome official report states: In the Trivignolo Valley there was very severe fighting 'on Monday night. After a violent bombardment, which destroyed our position on the massif of Piccolo and Colbricon, an enemy attacking force penetrated part of our supports. This led to violent fighting, lasting until yesterday afternoon, and resulted- in the recapture of the whole position. One hundred dead were left on the field, and there is other considerable evidence of the enemy's heavy reverse.
