GOVERNMENT ACTION PROPOSED

LONDON, May 22. Mr Bathurst, in the House of Commons, announced that the Food Controller was conferring with the Department of Agriculture and Trades witn a view to early control of meat prices. He was satisfied there was a certain amount of undesirable speculation.
