Owing to the memorial service at Mokoia, the Presbyterian services will not be held there on Sunday afternoon, but will be held on the following Sunday. Mr T. P. The principle involved in the engagement by one education board of a teacher in the employment of another, and securing such services by advancing such teacher more than one grade, was touched on at the monthly meeting of the Wellington Board on Tuesday. In a local instance a teacher about to leave the board's employment had been advanced two-grades by the board into whose service he was g6ing —an action which if taken by the Wellington Board within itself would have caused discontent throughout the whole of its service.
