It_was; agreed to grant Arthur Bushby Pearson; D.P.H., Edinburgh and blasgowv the diploma of public health m the New Zealand University. As regards the medical students who went north to assist the authorities in combatting the smallpox enidemic, the Senate resolved that a special examinatlon be held in; March, provided that the Health Department will bear the expense of the examination. The Department has agreed to do so.
