OPINION IN ENGLAND.
LONDON, Nov. 14. Mr Havelock Wilson, interviewed at Liverpool, said that the sailors and firemen strongly protested against Mr Larkm's declaration of the fiery cross. "We are not," he said, "going to let Mr Larkm dictate whether we shall slrike or not."
Other Labor leaders stated that nothing is known of a general strike. _Mr Birrell, speaking at Bristol, wag greeted with prolonged suffragette disturbances and cries of "Tell us about the hundred thousand starving in Dublin J" Mr Birrell justified the authorities' action against Mr Larkin, who had not been released till he had served a suificient-'sentence commensurate with the evidence on which he was sentenced
