DAIRY PRODUCE.

THIS MONTH'S PAY-OUT

A meeting is to be held to-day at Stratford to discuss the position of the companies and to come to some decision in regard to the pay-out on the twentieth. The position is that a large portion of the produce against which this month's pay-out should be drawn is still in the Dominion. Tho Athenic, which should have got away on tho 13th. is not expected to leave till Tuesday, the 18th, and tho .Riraut?k». will probably not be loaded by that* date. It is almost certain tliat in view of these facts, and also from a prudential point of view, to-day's: meeting will recommend that a reduced, amount be paid out. The produce is certainly impaired where it has been exposed as in Wellington, but in njcsfc cases -it'might be left in store tlucci months without material lass.
