MAINTENANCE CASE.
GORE, August 1. At the -S.M. Court to-day, J. J. Meikle. of ' Epsom, Auckland, was charged on-the information of his wife, Jane 'Meikle, of Tuturali, with disobedience of an order of the court made in Auckland to provide her with maintenance, the arrears amounting to £28 to July. After the evidence of Mrs Meikle, the Magistrate made an order that J. J. Meikle be imprisoned for one month in Mount Eden Gaol, Auckland: to be released on payment of the £28.
