HOCKEY.
On Wednesday a team of Patea ladies are coming up to try conclusions with the local ladies. This will be a great help to the local team, and they are very grateful for the Patea team's proposal. All lovers of hockey should be present, as a. very close finish is anticipated. The local team are eagerly looking forward to this game, and will hold an earlymorning practice on Monday, when all members are earnestly requested to attend, as the team will then be selected for Wednesday's game.
