ISLAND HURRICANE.

SYDNEY, April 23. The captain of the inter-island 6teamer Ripple reports that a hurricane swept the southern part of the Lav Archipelago on April 16. Four native villages on the island of Fulaga were destroyed, and much damage done to the plantations and the cutters at sea.
