PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHURCH.
TARANAKI DISTRICT SYNOD
The annual district synod in connection with the Primitive Methodist Church in Taranaki was opened at Stratford on "Wednesday. The Rer. B. Metson presided.
Delegates were present from Wanganui, Eltham, Stratford, East Egmont, Inglewood and New Plymouth. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Chairman, Rev. S. Bailey; vice-chairman, Mr R. Pepperell; secretary, Eev. F. Frost; assistant secretary, Mr E. T. Bias; letter writer, Rev. J. Charteris."
The membership returns for the district showed that there was an increase of five members for the year, bringing the total to 402.—-Stratford Post.
