(Received Jan. 31, 1.30 p.m.) CAIRO, Jan. 30. The Duke of Fife was ill on January 17, and pleurisy appeared on the 21st. His temperature was normal until Thursday, but the left lung was congested. Heart trouble appeared on Friday, and increasing heart failure thereafter. The Duke's faculties were unimpaired until just before death. LONDON, Jan. 30. Their Majesties curtailed the Gibraltar programme owing to the death of the Duke of Fife.
