Mr Walter Rmiciman, President of the Board of Agriculture, at Newcastle, said he was not sorry to quit the Board of Education. He was impatient with tiie Nonconformists, who refused to recognise the sincerity of religious convictions wherewith they disagreed. _ They -would, have to concede the principle of religious equality.
