The N.Z. Loaiv and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports: — On Thursday a good entry of cattle met with a keen demand. Practically all lines were sold at prices in favour of vendors. We quote:-—Weaners (medium) 26s to 295, (good) 32s 6d to 355, (extra good) £2 Os 6d to £2 8s; 15-months heifers, £3 6s 6d; 15-months steers, £3 3s; 2^-year steers, £5 2s 6d; aged cows, £2 5s to £2 9s; store cows, £3 12s to £3 13s; forward cows. £4 7s to £4 12s 6d; light fat cows> £4 15s to £5; heifers in calf, £4 55.. ,
