OPERA HOUSE.
"FOOLS OF SOCIETY;"
The "Fools of Society," to be pre^ sented at the Opera House to-night, is said to be one of the most daring and ambitious pictures yet put on the screen." It is crammed full of incident of an absorbing nature fronf beginning 1 to end, and compels attention as only a thrilling story can. Indeed, it contains more incident than many a three-vol-ume novel, and fascinates and holds attention in a marvellous manner. The mounting, scenic features and realism of the entire subject are a revelation in the art of photographic reproduction, and a distinct triumph of stage management. The acting is really wonderful, every detail being depicted In a lifelike manner, and appears like realitymore than a mimic representation. The racecourse scene shows a real racecourse with its masses of people, and the scene is really part of the story, for the hero, riding in a steeplechase, sustains injures that result in his death, whilst the woman he loves looks on in horror from the reserved stand.
