A MOTOR-CAR FATALITY.
CHRTSTCHURCH, Jan. 19. At a quarter to five this afternoon a motor-car accident occurred in front of Warner's Hotel, when a car driven by Reginald Blunden, of Bennett's, turned from Colombo street towards Warner's Hotel. An elderly man named Thomas Ryan hesitated, and the car ran into him, knocking him over. He sustained severe injuries to his spine, and his left leg was broken. He was token to the hospital, where Ke died at 8.30.
