FAILURE TO ARRANGE A
COMBINATION

The Government- has failed to organise a bloc against the Socialists, owing to the National-Liberals and Radicals refusing to join forces with the Centre and Conservatives.
The Government has therefore ordered its party to abstain from voting where the choice is between Radicals and Socialists. *
