There is much interest evinced in the consignment of Australian mutton. After complying with the meat inspection law, it was distributed to various oenitres.

Fifty members of the Butchers' Guild at Chamnitz partook of the meat at a luncheon as a test. The meat was pronounced satisfactory, and sold at 8d to 9d per lb.
