CARTERTON BUSINESS MEN FAVOR NO-LICENSE.

CARTERTON, Nov. 29. A public meeting on the licensing question was held here last night at which several of the Masterton business men spoke on the good, effects of •nolicense in Masterton. At the close of the meeting the following resolution was put: "That this large and representative audience of Carterton citizens having heard the convincing statement by the Masterton business men re the good effect of no-license in Masterton, declares its intention of supporting nolicense at the coming pqlL'' The motion was carried unanimously.
