EIGHT LIVES LOST,

«X CABMB—PBKBB ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT. Received Aug. 2, 2 p.m. OTTAWA Aug. 1. Eight lives were lost and many injured in a fire which destroyed the main building in the insane asylum to-day a Hamilton, Ontario. There were 800 patients in the building when the fire broke out.
