An accident happened to a local boynamed Charlie Jones this morning (Saturday). It seems he was riding round one of the paddocks, and through his hat blowing off the pony swerved. Following a frosty morning the ground to lose his footing. In so doing he fell upon the boy, wnose leg was badly bruised. It is not yet known whether it has been broken.

A committee has at length been sewas slippery, which cmsed the animal lected to pick the site for the tennis courts, with power to act, and when the land has been purchased a public meeting will be called to form a tennis club.
