The Persian Government has requested the withdrawal of the bluejackets recently landed at- Lingah to protect the tcwn from the threatened attack of notorious marauders, but the British Minister refused until the danger had passed. The Kashgai tribesmen raided the Jewish quarters of Shiraz.
