LOVE LOAVES.
A recipe we can .recommend — make them. Take two cupfuls of sugar, half a cupful of butter, one cupful of sweet milk, the whites of four eggs, two teaspoonfuls of baking powder, two cupfuls of flour and one tea spoonful of vanilla. Cream the butter and sugar and add the milk. Sift the flour and baking powder together and add half of it. Mix the eggs well beaten, with the rest, and the vanilla. Bake in a square pan. When cool cut in squares and cover with a chocolate icing, over whioh sprinkle cocoanut. For the icing take a "cupful and a half of sugar with three tablespoonfuls of cream and a third of a cake of chocolate. Boil until it will rope when poured from a spoon. Pour this over the beaten whites of two eggs. Beat until it thickens, and spread over the loaf. Serve with Crescent Blend Tea (2s per 1b). This tea has an exquisite flavor and pleases the palate. It is the favorite tea with most ladies, and as it brews a rich strong liquor it goes much, farther titan other teas, and is therefore economical for family use. It is procurable from most storekeepers in your district, and if you've not tried it you should get a packet. — Advt. YOU SHOULD BEAR IN MIND That by using the Commercial Eucalyptus Oil, which is now bought up at 6d per lb weight and bottled, and on account of the large profit pushed, you are exposing yourself to all the dangers to which the use of turpentine will expose you — irritation of kidneys, intestinal tract and mucous membrane. By insisting on the GENUINE SANDER EUCALYPTI EXTRACT you not only avoid these pitfalls, but you have a stimulating, safe and effective medicament, the result of a special and careful manufacture. Remember : SANDER'S EXTRACT embodies the result of 50 years' experience and of special study, and it does what promised ; it cures and heals without injuring the constitution, as the oils on the market frequently do. Therefore, protect yourself by rejecting other brands.
