The ordinary meeting of the above was held on Thursday evening. Captain C. H. Taylor presided over a good muster. Fireman Reader tendered his resignation on actinunt of leaving tho district. A. and T. Burt, Ltd., sent an account for £22 9s, for now firebell r which was passed for payment subject to the trial being satisfactory. Master Geo v . Barlow was unanimously elected is a messenger. An. alarm will be sound<h3 on tli o t new firebell by Captain Taylor's instructions at any -time during the next ten clays in order to thoroughly tost tho new boll. At the conclusion of the nutting the brigade turned out and a first-class wet practice was indulged in.
