CUSTOMS TAKE 800 TINS.

SYDNEY, January 27.

The Customs have seized 800 tins of opium, valued between £2500 and £3000.

At the time the steamer Empire left port this afternoon a launch w.as seen manoeuvring in her vicinity. The launch was to-night shepherded by Customs authorities, who boarded her up the 1 harbor, seized the vessel, and arrested all on board.
