Messrs* Robertson and Cave have just completed to the order of Mr A. H. Guy what may be regarded as one of the finest and most up-to-date residences in or around Kaponga. It is a 5-roomed v structure, with bathroom, pantry, and large hall. The rooms are large and lofty, especially the dining-room, which is about the size of the meeting-room at the Oddfellows' Hall. The subcontractors were: Painting and decorating, Mr T. Sargeson; plumbing, Mr D. Bates ; bricklaying,, etc., Mr Howard; all of whom are to be .congratulated on the manner in which the work has been carried out. LADIES' BALL. "' . This function, which^was held' at the Athenaeum Hall on Wednesday last,' was -voted as one of the most enjoyable held in Kaponga for year£.
